Cauliflower Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cauliflower
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/8 tsp. mace or nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
paprika
3/4 c. day old bread, diced into 1/2-inch pieces
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Separate cauliflower into flowerets and cook in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes.
Drain and turn into a casserole or shallow baking dish.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a saucepan.
Blend in flour and salt.
Gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add spices and parsley.
Pour over cauliflower. Melt remaining butter and add several good shakes of paprika.
Toss with bread cubes.
Add walnuts and sprinkle over cauliflower.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
