Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 firm apples
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    4 Tbsp. oatmeal (dry)
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    16 pitted prunes
Preparation
    Core apples and make a 1/2-inch deep cut around the roundest part of the apple.
    Rub lemon juice on the inside of the cut surface.
    Set apples in a shallow baking dish.
    Place prunes in water that has been brought to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes to plump.
    Remove the pits and mash prunes with a fork.
    Add allspice and mash, stir in oatmeal.
    Fill each apple to the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 45 minutes.
    Serve immediately.
