Strawberry Shortcut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. frozen sliced strawberries in syrup
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Generously grease bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Spread marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan.
    Blend thawed strawberries, syrup and dry gelatin; set aside.
    In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Blend at low speed until moistened, beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Pour evenly over marshmallows.
    Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
