Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oil
1 lb. round steak
1 medium onion, sliced
2 green peppers, sliced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Cut round steak into thin strips.
Preheat oil in skillet.
Add steak and brown on both sides.
Remove meat to other dish.
Add onion and green peppers to skillet and cook until tender.
Dissolve cornstarch in water and soy sauce.
Add garlic salt, sugar and black pepper.
Pour this into skillet with vegetables, stirring until sauce is thick and clear.
Add meat and cook until meat is heated through.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.
