Sugar Crusted Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large cooking apples
    1/3 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 stick margarine, softened
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. orange juice
    heavy cream
Preparation
    Peel and core apples.
    Combine flour, sugar,
    salt
    and cinnamon.
    Cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal.
    Roll
    apples
    in
    egg,
    then in flour
    mixture
    and arrange
    in
    baking
    pan.\tPlace
    any leftover flour
    or
    egg mixture over apples.
    Pour orange juice into pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender.
    Baste twice while\tbaking.
    Spoon juice over warm apples and serve with plain or
    whipped cream. Serves 6.
