Mary'S Candied Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 lb. candied pineapple, coarsely cut
    1 lb. whole candied cherries
    1 1/4 lb. pitted dates, chopped
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Add pineapple, cherries and dates. Mix with hands until well incorporated. Beat 4 eggs until frothy; gradually beat in 1 cup sugar. Add to fruit mixture; mix well. Add pecans and mix well. Grease loaf pans and pack mixture in very firmly.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour. Don't overbake. Turn out on rack and cool.
