Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. or 3 c. pitted dates
    4 oz. red candied pineapple chunks
    4 oz. green candied pineapple chunks
    4 oz. red candied cherries
    1 lb. shelled Brazil nuts or pecans
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    4 well beaten eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla or rum flavoring
Preparation
    Cut up\tdates;\tcombine
    fruit and nuts.
    Sift together the dry
    ingredients.
    Add
    to\tfruit
    and nuts, coating well. Stir in beaten
    eggs
    and\tvanilla; mix well.
    Line loaf pans with heavy paper (I use paper bags);
    grease paper.
    Fill with batter.
    Bake in a slow oven (325\u00b0) for 1 hour or until done.
