Mock Enchilada - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/3 c. onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can chili con carne
    1 pkg. corn chips
    1/2 lb. American Cheddar cheese, diced
Preparation
    Brown beef in hot fat.\tAdd
    onion and cook until soft. Mix in salt, pepper and chili.
    Place alternate layers of corn chips, chili mixture and cheese in a greased casserole, ending with corn chips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
