Ingredients

1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation

Melt margarine and cocoa in pan over low heat.
Remove from heat and cool.
Add sugar, egg, salt and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in flour.
Dough will be stiff.
Shape into balls (use 1 teaspoon dough for each ball).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
