Icebox Rolls(Yields 12 Rolls) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/8 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. scalded milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/8 cup lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon sugar.
To scalded milk, add 1/4 cup sugar and shortening.
Let stand until warm.
Stir in yeast.
Add egg and salt; beat well. Stir in enough flour to make a fairly stiff dough, about 2 3/4 cups.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
(May be refrigerated overnight.)
Spoon into greased muffin tins and let rise in warm place until double in size.
Bake in preheated oven at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
