Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 qt. popped corn (about 2 air popper batches)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. corn syrup (dark or light)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pour popcorn in large brown grocery bag*.
    In a 2-quart bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.
    Bring to full rolling boil.
    This takes 3 to 5 minutes.
    Stir soda into mixture. Mix well until foamy.
    Pour syrup over popcorn in bag.
    Close bag and shake well.
    Microwave on High 1 minute.
    Shake, microwave 1 minute more and shake.
    Microwave 30 seconds; shake.
    Microwave 30 seconds more and shake.
    Pour on cookie sheet or waxed paper to cool.
