Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
3/4 c. oleo
2 eggs
3/4 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Blend first 6 ingredients.
Sift remaining ingredients.
Mix and add 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts and 1 1/2 cups raisins.
Drop by teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Makes approximately 80 cookies.
