Plain Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter or other shortening
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening
    and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Beat egg whites. Add 1/4
    cup
    sugar.
    Add
    egg yolks and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy. Then
    fold\tin
    other ingredients;\tblend thoroughly. Pour\tin two (8-inch) layer cake pans.
    Grease bottom of pans and line with wax paper.\tBake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
