Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix all together except pecans.
    Mix well with whip or rotary beater.
    Put nuts in bottom of unbaked pie shell.
    Pour filling over nuts.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven about 1 hour or until knife blade inserted in center comes out with a slightly thickened custard-like filling clinging to the knife for a moderately firm pie.
