Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. broken nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Melt butter and sugar. Cool slightly.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well.
    Add dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate chips.
    Bake in a 9 x 12-inch greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 about 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut when almost cooled.
