Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or butter Crisco
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour (need to add more for good consistency)
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Mix in vanilla, eggs and sour cream. Add all dry ingredients.
Refrigerate overnight.
Roll out and cut out cookies (use enough flour so dough isn't sticky).
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown, 5 to 10 minutes.
This is a large recipe and is great for holidays.
