Southern-Style Chicken Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (reserve liquid)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 tsp. each: thyme and pepper
    1 (2 lb.) box frozen fully cooked fried chicken
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    Rice Pilaf *
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until golden.
    Stir in soup, broth, mushroom liquid and seasonings.
    Add chicken; cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
    Serve over Pilaf.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
