Best-Ever Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 well beaten egg
    3/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. oil or melted shortening
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
    Make well in center. Combine egg, milk and oil.
    Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir quickly until dry ingredients are just moistened.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
