Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 sticks butter
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Beat sugar, shortening and butter until creamy.
Add eggs and beat until mixed well.
Add flour and baking powder, alternately with milk.
Blend in vanilla and lemon.
Pour into tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour without opening oven.
