Ham And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ham, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 Tbsp. bacon fat
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    dash of salt and pepper
    6 medium potatoes, sliced thin
Preparation
    Pan-fry ham in bacon fat until browned on both sides.
    Place in a well-buttered casserole dish.
    Melt butter; blend in flour. Add milk and stir over direct heat until sauce boils and thickens. Add salt and pepper.
    Arrange sliced potatoes over ham.
    Pour hot sauce over them.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cover for 1/2 hour; then uncover remaining time.
