Taco Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion (optional)
1 can (10 oz.) enchilada sauce
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) beef consomm
1 pkg. (8 oz.) kid-size or small flour tortillas
1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
lettuce, tomato, sour cream
Preparation

Brown meat and onion together; drain.
Add sauce, soup and consomm; heat to boiling.
In 9 x 13-inch pan alternate layers of tortillas, meat mix and cheese three times, cutting tortillas in half if necessary to cover more of the pan.
(A little sauce under the first layer of tortillas will keep them from sticking.)
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serve on a bed of shredded lettuce and top with chopped tomato and sour cream, if desired.
