Armenian Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon, chopped
    1 can beef consomme
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can water
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. raw regular rice
Preparation
    Fry bacon pieces.
    Add butter; saute onion pieces until golden brown.
    Add rice; saute 3 minutes.
    Put in a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Add consomme and water.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8.
