Shrimp-Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk or cream
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1 lb. cooked, cleaned shrimp
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. blanched slivered almonds
    grated Parmesan cheese
    cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add flour; cook gently 3 to 4 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add milk while stirring.
    Return to heat and cook until thick, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in sherry.
    In a small greased casserole, layer half the shrimp, mushrooms, almonds and sauce.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with Parmesan and crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
