Rainbow Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted granulated sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1/2 c. milk
