Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. shortening *
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. ice water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the shortening to crumbly stage. Combine beaten egg, ice water and vinegar. Add to flour mixture and work to right consistency, but do not overwork. This will be adequate for several pies. It keeps well refrigerated or frozen.
