Golden Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots, scraped and sliced
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
1/8 tsp. dried whole thyme
Preparation

Combine carrots and water in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap and vent.
Microwave on High 5 to 10 minutes or until carrots are done, stirring once.
Combine onion, butter and nutmeg in a small bowl; microwave on High 30 seconds to 1 minute or until onion is tender and transparent. Add next 4 ingredients and stir well; microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes. Add onion mixture to carrots, tossing gently to coat.
Yields 4 servings.
