Linguini With Salmon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. linguini
    1/4 lb. unsalted butter
    1 c. petite peas
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 c. flaked, cooked salmon (preferably fresh)
    1 c. Parmesan cheese (preferably Reggiano)
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    salt, white pepper and nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    Cook linguini in boiling water; drain.
    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in heavy saucepan.
    Add peas and saute for 1 minute.
    Add remaining butter and cream; reduce heat to low and cook until butter melts.
    Add salmon, 1/2 cup cheese and spices.
    Simmer until cheese melts and salmon is heated through.
    Toss with cooked pasta and garnish with remaining cheese and parsley.
    Serves 4.
