Italian White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 c. olive oil
    1 can clams
    1 c. minced onion
    1 c. sherry wine
Preparation
    Brown lightly garlic in olive oil.
    Drain clams, add clam meat, onion and sherry to pan.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve over linguine noodles.
