Ingredients

nonstick spray coating
1 slightly beaten egg
1/3 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2-inch thick slices French bread
1/4 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
1/3 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. honey
3/4 tsp. cornstarch
dash of ground cinnamon
Preparation

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray coating.
In a shallow bowl, combine egg, milk and vanilla.
Dip bread slices in egg mixture just long enough to coat both sides.
Place in baking sheet.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven about 6 minutes or until bread is lightly browned.
Turn bread over and bake 5 to 8 minutes more or until golden.
