Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 lb. dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar, well beaten eggs, and vanilla; mix. Slowly add dry ingredients and nuts. Roll in 4 one inch rolls on wax paper. Chill 4 hours or place in freezer for more rapid chilling. Remove and slice into 1/8 inch slices. Bake on greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
