"No Weep" Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and boil until it spins a thread. Remove from heat immediately.
    While beating constantly, pour syrup slowly into 2 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Beat until it holds shape well.
    This meringue keeps exceptionally well.
