Tortilla Soup(Servings: 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1 whole onion, chopped
    1 whole jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 large carrots, sliced
    6 ribs celery, sliced
    1 lb. raw chicken breast, chopped
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 c. flour
    2 cans chicken broth (1 or more cans water)
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, diced
Preparation
    Saute onion, garlic, pepper, celery and spices.
    Add flour and mix.
    Gradually add tomatoes, carrots, chicken, broth and add water as needed.
    Cook until done.
    Serve over tortilla chips. May add grated cheese or sour cream, but this adds fat.
