Oatmeal Raisin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. uncooked oats
1/4 c. dark molasses
1/3 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. raisins
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
-
Pour boiling water over raisins, oats, shortening, molasses, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
Stir until shortening is melted. Cool to warm.
