Bill'S Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped (optional)
    1 stick butter or oleo
    milk for mashing
Preparation
    Peel, cook and dice potatoes.
    Cook chopped onion in milk. Do not let boil.
    Melt stick of butter in hot onion milk mixture. Mash potatoes with the hot onion milk butter mixture.
    Beat until creamy.
    Put cool potatoes in individual packages and store in freezer.
    When ready to use, thaw out,
    place in Corning Ware dish and reheat in a steamer.
    Will taste like fresh mashed potatoes.
