French Onion Soup(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium onions
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 qt. beef broth (1 qt. boiling water and 1 bouillon cube)
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/3 c. brandy
    1 c. plain croutons
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Thinly slice onions and brown in butter.
    Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, brandy and a dash of salt and pepper. Simmer until onions are tender. Serve into oven-safe bowls. Sprinkle croutons on top of soup and cover with cheese.
    Place in oven at 550\u00b0 until cheese is fully melted and slightly browned. Serve hot.
