Granny Deavers Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 c. boiling water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    3 large eggs, well beaten
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
    Add butter and salt; cool to lukewarm. Then add eggs and milk.
    Beat for 2 minutes.
    Pour into greased casserole and bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
    Spoon out while piping hot and pass more butter.
