Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. navy beans
    3/4 lb. bacon (raw)
    16 oz. ketchup
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. molasses
Preparation
    Rinse and sort beans.
    Soak beans overnight with water 1-inch over top of beans.
    Put loose cover on kettle.
    In morning, add cut up bacon (raw).
    Cook uncovered until beans are tender.
    Put beans into roaster (do not drain).
    Add remaining ingredients. Stir.
    Mix thoroughly and bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Cover roaster when baking.
    Stir occasionally.
