No Peek Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    pinch of cream of tartar
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    food color (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Beat egg whites stiff with cream of tartar.
    Slowly add sugar and vanilla.
    When stiff, fold in chocolate chips.
    Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto foil-lined cookie sheet.
    Put all cookies in oven at the same time.
    Close the door and turn off the oven.
    Leave cookies in oven 8 hours or overnight.
