Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Cream butter, add sugar and beat well.
Add beaten eggs then sifted dry ingredients.
Chill dough.
Roll thin on lightly floured board.
Cut and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake on cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
