Shaum Torte(Meringue Shells) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Cover baking sheet with heavy brown paper. Beat egg whites.
    Add cream of tartar and beat until foamy.
    Beat in sugar, one teaspoon at a time until stiff and glossy.
    Do not underbeat.
    On brown paper, shape meringue into 9-inch circle, building up sides.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours.
    Turn off oven.
    Leave in oven with door closed for 1 hour.
    Finish cooling out of oven away from draft.
    Put on plate and fill with strawberries and ice cream.
    Top with Cool Whip.
