Apple-Cherry Turnovers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 tart apples
6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 (40 oz.) can pitted sour red cherries, drained
1 (17 1/2 oz.) pkg. puff pastry sheets
Preparation

Pare, core and slice apples.
Add cherries.
Mix dry ingredients.
Cut puff pastry sheet into 4 squares.
Arrange apple-cherry mixture on pastry.
Sprinkle with dry ingredients; top with dots of butter.
Fold pastry to form triangle.
Seal edges.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Yield:
4 turnovers.
