Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium sweet potatoes, baked
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Put sliced potatoes in baking dish in layers. Combine sugar and flour well. Add salt. Add hot water and butter. Cook over low heat until thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over potatoes and bake at 315\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, basting once.
