Ingredients

2 c. blueberries
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Line well-greased 8-inch pan, about 2-inches deep, with blueberries, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar; add milk.
Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Spread batter over blueberries.
Mix 1 cup sugar, dash of salt and cornstarch; sprinkle over batter.
Pour boiling water over top. Do not stir.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serve hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Serves 6.
(Can be doubled and baked in 9 x 13-inch pan.)
