Lowell Inn Crescent Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. warm water
    2 pkg. RapidRise active dry yeast
    4 c. Gold Medal flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. soft shortening
Preparation
    In a bowl, dissolve yeast in water (plus 1 teaspoon sugar). Mix ingredients.
    Add rest of flour until smooth.
    Cover.
    Let rise in a warm place until double, 1 1/2 hours.
    Divide.
    Shape. Let rise until double, 1 hour.
    Brush with butter.
    Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, until rich golden brown.
    Makes 32 rolls.
