Half Sour Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small pickling size cucumbers
    4 to 5 stems fresh dill
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    3 to 4 large garlic cloves
    1 tsp. pickling spice
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    2 1/2 qt. water
Preparation
    Wash cukes and slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Boil water, salt and vinegar in a large pot. Remove from heat. Let cool slightly. Add spices, garlic, dill and cukes. Place a plate over the cukes to keep them submerged. Let sit overnight (about 8 hours). Then they're ready to eat. Store in the refrigerator.
