Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    4 or 5 large potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    1 large can Carnation milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Put enough water to cover potatoes and onion.
    Cook until tender.
    Add milk and cream of chicken soup; add butter and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook until this is hot.
    Do not let it boil.
