Potato Latkes(Pancakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, scrubbed and grated
    1/2 small onion, peeled and grated
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil for frying
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, onions, eggs, flour, salt and pepper.
    Heat oil until it sizzles.
    Drop in heaping tablespoonfuls of batter and flatten each latke a little.
    Turn and fry both sides until brown. Drain on paper towels.
    Serve with applesauce or sour cream.
