Creamy Rice Pudding(Yields 32 Four-Ounce Portions) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. rice
    1 lb. sugar
    4 qt. milk
    8 egg yolks
    2 oz. vanilla
    1 qt. heavy cream
Preparation
    In a heavy-gauge pot, over moderate heat, combine rice, sugar and milk.
    Cook until rice is tender, approximately 45 minutes. When rice is cooked, remove pot from stove and gradually incorporate eggs.
    Return to heat and cook thoroughly.
    Add vanilla and pour into Bain Marie.
    Chill overnight.
