Spiced Watermelon Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 qt. cubed rind (trim off green rind and pink flesh)
1 qt. water
3 Tbsp. salt
1 qt. water
1 c. vinegar
4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. allspice
Preparation

For each salad, place a lettice leaf on plate.
Place a chilled pear half, cut side down, on the lettice leaf.
Make face on each pear half, using narrow end for the head.
Use 2 raisens for eyes, 1 red cinnamon candy for the nose, 2 almonds (without skins) for ears.
Add a ball of cottage cheese at the wide end for the bunnys tail.
