Lincoln'S Mother'S Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 onions, sliced thin
1 c. cabbage, shredded
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 c. canned tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 dash pepper
1 tsp. chili powder or to taste
Preparation
-
Brown the beef, then add onions, cabbage and celery; cook for 1/2 hour.
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 20 minutes. (May also be put in crock-pot.)
